I was woken by mom a couple of times, but now I think I'll just feel like shit if I keep trying
But I can manage from here, since it's only about ten hours I have to be awake now, instead of twenty-two
I close again tomorrow, so hopefully my sleep schedule isn't so whack as to make that one weird too

Still feel kinda blugh​ now, but that's cuz my stomach is grumbling. It wants food

You have to work 10 hours? They must trust you if they let you close. Why don't you do direct deposit with your checks? I think most peopel do it that way now - less delay, you have the money right away and no worrying about lost checks or having to make it to the bank to deposit them.

We aren't full season yet still
Today's ten to five for the park's hours, and the store I work at doesn't open until eleven thirty, so my shift starts quarter after eleven. So instead of a shift change at four, everyone stays one more hour

And a double there, at one of the places that opens with the park, is twelve hours. Did it once and holy fuck I was exhausted. 0/10
But you get two breaks, so it's not too bad? Sort of? If you prefer that kind of thing?
There's a few places up by main gate that start at nine, and don't end until eleven or so. Fourteen hours, give or take. Candy Kitchen, for one. I haven't done a double there, but I have opened and closed, and while the park hours will tell you ten-thirty, they have past a point a rope to keep people in the front area, so gates open at ten, so those front shops tend to be hammered in the morning, and after the nightly laser light show, which starts about ten after ten and ends half past
After, unless we're told to shut our doors during, get mobbed too

So I'm not working super long today, just an hour extra

I know good service tends to be shuffled, as well as rides, but retail generally puts you in one place unless otherwise needed

As for your weather comment, it's the opposite here. It was sunny for the entire day and it's still hot even now that it's night.

I want to nap but my break is nearly over and i have a couple hours left anyway

Incredibly hot here as well. Your head will ache from the heat. Doesn't help that the whole house is concrete too, I guess. Kinda miss our iron sheet roofing back in the old days. lol
