Sounds like you'd be a good candidate for a wifi range extender. If you have coax cable in your room and one next to your modem you can use a gocoax set (fastest most stable compared to wifi extenders). Then there are network over power lines that will work, but last choice (slowest).

I think it was just the antennaes needing adjusted. One felt loose, so it may have been the reason. Idk, but it seems to be working now.

Check your signal in Windows or look at how many wifi bars you get on your cell phone where your computer is. A weak signal will give you low performance/throughput.

It's all the way up in pc and my phone.

It stayed connected to even now. I think it was just the adapter needed readjusting.

Like, my internet can be dodgy at times, but even my bro, whose room is next to mine, has been able to connect to wifi perfectly fine. But I think I solved my issue.

Update on my PC's WiFi:

Day 2, WiFi signal has remained. I type this on my PC. I think it was just an antennae that got loose when I was changing up my room layout because it worked perfectly fine before. There was no way moving 10 feet would do anything, especially when I pick up signal from even further in the house.

I want to get back to Sims 4, tempted to buy another pack of some kind. Maybe later.

Thanks for the update! I have seen marginal signals go to zero by moving a coule of inches. Most homes have their AP's in bad spots (even inside cabinets!) low to the ground and/or on one side of the house. Good signal is good to go!

I have a couple of origin games. Am I out of luck now?

You still have access to your games. Your Origin account is now your EA account. Just download the EA app and sign in and you can play the games you had on origin.

The EA app is basically a reskin of Origin, practically identical, just a new name and color scheme.
