The vet is about an hour away, specifically the branch with all the equipment for such surgeries
My shift tomorrow starts at quarter after eleven, which means I want to be there about eleven
Which means if we pick up tomorrow, dad and I want to be out at about eight, be there around nine, for pickup and payments and such, and prolly get home around ten-thirty, with enough time to drop Rufus off at home and settle him in before going to work
If mom had insisted on a Saturday pickup, dad and I wouldn't have had this problem cuz I'm off and dad doesn't work weekends

Looks like the cloth version, or whatever material it is. It doesn't do as good a job as the bigger plastic cone so monitor him to make sure he can't get to his stitches.

It's probably for when it's needed, but the pet doesn't really go at the stitches
Like dad called the vet about when it comes off, it comes off with the stitches are removed, and they said that if I'm with him, it can come off entirely

at least with the cloth version he can sleep - sort of? Poor Rufus! I hope he heals quickly.
