Kyoto animation arson:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/19/asia/kyo ... index.html

[+] SPOILER
"As they apprehended the suspect, police said the man spoke about his work being plagiarized but cautioned that they need to wait until the suspect is formally interviewed before confirming a motive.
Officers have so far been unable to question the man, who remains sedated in hospital owing to the severe burns he sustained during the attack.
Grim details started to emerge from the scene on Friday as police began their inspection of the site.
After dousing flames, firefighters entered the building and found 20 bodies lying on the staircase leading to the roof exit. Another team found 11 bodies on the second floor of the building and two on the ground floor.
Police said that 74 people were inside the building at the time of the blaze.
The fire spread so rapidly that many inside did not have time to escape, Kyoto Prefectural police told CNN. Several people jumped out of the second and third floor windows and suffered bone fractures."

That's sickening that someone would be so upset over work being plagerized that they'd do something like this. I understand being upset because it is truly upsetting but one can not just destroy so many lives.

Those poor people.

I agree! Are people so removed from reality they don't think of how their actions will negativiely impact the lives of others? I understand being angry but I can condone violent acts...and who even knows if he ever submitted work to them... I can only imagine the anguish of the families!

She animates stories about her life. She's really funny and sweet. She suffered from anorexia and bulimia, but she made it through it.

Yeah, the Kyoto arson was terrible. I hate hearing about things like this. At least when it's a natural disaster it's not anyone's fault. But for someone to do something like this is just awful.

Looking great Adol!

I think we might have some shoes that would work closer to the image...if you can't find them in one of the shops I will look through my shoe inventory.

50 year anniversary for the moon landing today! <I think I got it right this time>

True. I actually watched a video by Thomas Sanders earlier that was jam packed with reasons to smile.

I am too.

Your avie is great

That's cool! I heard a it about it on the radio earlier. Too bad the moon is a hologram so the moon landing was fake. (Jk jk)

Adol your avi looks great.

Wow 50 years since it happened. I wonder when we'll go back (I heard there are plans to).

Yesterday, I found out that my goddaughter has named her new hamster plush toy after my pet hamster, Greg. She and her parents looked after him for me when I went away on a week long trip a few months ago. She's only just 3 so I'm surprised she can still remember him.

Here is a picture of him. It's the only non blurry picture of him haha:

haha npixelz!

I think it would make sense to build a base on the moon as a step towards exploring space.

I had no idea they had coconut houses for hamsters! Is it a real coconut? We had the bigger hamsters not the dwarf, they had great personalities! Your goddaughter must have been very impressed by your hamster!

Hi everyone,

I'm going to have to take a few days off here. This morning we had to have my eldest budgie put to sleep. We (my fiancé and I) knew this day was coming for a while now but weren't prepared for how sudden it has happened. She seemed so fine yesterday.

I will answer your hamster related questions when I get back.

I am so sad for you MissAutumn...our budgie lived quite a few years and then one morning he wasn't moving around his cage that well or talking to me as usual and with in the day he was gone. Sometimes I still find his feathers around the house. I feel your loss.
