Have you seen mermaid's purses < shark eggs> before? Our local aquarium has some hatching right now. They are pretty cool looking!

I saw different stages of development of the babies in the egg sacs. Amazing that they are in egg sacs and not born live, ready to swim.

I read that some species have live baby. That seems weird because fish lay egg.

I looked it up and some lay eggs and some have live births!!

That is interesting. I like comparing animals using humans. It be like if some of humans lay eggs and some give liv birth and that sounds neat but interested.
