We only get a half gallon because between me and Eagle we don't go through it that much. It's also lighter. A full gallon is too heavy for me to lift (yes I'm weak).

We always had a gallon of milk when I lived with my parents, sometimes two. When I started having issues lifting it my parents then would drink up the milk so it was halfway full and let me use that while they would use the other full gallon. It worked it well for the most part.

milk is kind of weird when you think of it - but I do like whipped cream and milk in sauces and puddings.

You can really freak yourself out with that kind of thinking Gingerale. ^^;

Kit, was she on your head or just above you? Cat claws hurt.

Beautiful sunset over here tonight! Supermoon is coming - I am so excited!

If we seriously thought about where our food came from, we would probably want to grow our own.

I live next to a cow farm and the land across the street is used for crops
Cash crops, I believe

I think so
Idk what crop dusting is
The field across the street belongs to the owners of what used to be a pig farm until a massive fire occurred
Fortunately the large pond has a dry hydrant in it and is across the street from them, but damn that was a sight to come home on the bus with. There were, oh, 15 or so fire departments there
Lost about 1000 pigs, they decided to go to farming entirely after that. Before, their farmland was used to feed the pigs, and now not so much

That's a lot of smoked ham! ( sorry, couldn't resist)

That must have been scary for you though - getting closer to home and seeing so many fire trucks. Was your home in any danger then of catching on fire?

(crop dusting is when they fly low over the fields and dust them with bug killers etc which is extremely hazardous to a person's health and can lead to cancers.)

Oh no, no dusting

No, there's literally fields/pastures/large spaces between about every house, and the closest spot where they're close together is half a mile further away
So pretty much in less a freak windstorm had popped up, the only household really in danger was the one closest to the pig farm, and even that was some distance away from it all
