We've had a few tornado warnings over here, but they're rare

There were tornado warnings and apparently a nearby town had their sirens going off.... no tornadoes tho. I was working through it all, and where I worked, there were no sirens going off so we never had to take shelter.

At work, it's our restrooms. We've had tontake shelter once because sirens had gone off before.

In 2021, there was a really bad tornado in the western part of my state that completely obliterated a whole town.

Yeah. It's a warehouse so, if you don't go into a restroom, you risk shelves of product falling on you if a tornado does hit.

Makes sense. We get hurricanes here once in a while and they recommend sheltering in bathrooms (the ones with no windows). It's usually the stuff flying around that hits you that hurts you.
