Yes, I think people think of smoke as annoying but don't consider the toxins...and even if it is listed on a PSA commercial it doesn't sink in. They need to show people collapsing or having asthmatic attacks because of it...over dramatize it a bit so it sinks into people's minds...not sure if it would work but it might stick in their minds.

That is a good idea.

Maybe they should dramatize something for measles deaths because of those stupid antivaxxers. I don’t think I’m immunocompromized, but should I have a transplant, I would be.

There are so many reasons someone could have a compromised immune system.

That would be a good idea. I think people are really ignorant of the effects of second hand smoke. You only see the effects of smoking awareness for smokers on cigarette packaging (not sure if this is a thing in other countries but cigarette packets here have gross pictures of diseased hearts and lungs on them) but not mentioning anything about 2nd hand smoke.

One hospital in Wales came up with an interesting way to remind smokers not to smoke on hospital grounds:
BBC

Vaping is finally being seen as a bad thing too.

I asked my friend who smokes what it's like. He said that smoking actually hurts. It's the need for nicotine that makes you keep doing it.

Over here there are similar laws about cigarette packaging I believe. It was in the news this year.

Oh, that’s a clever way to remind people not to smoke.

Yeah, there’s been a lot of news about the vaping deaths and the health concerns of vaping. I don’t know if the deaths are isolated to the states.

I've never smoked so I don't know how it feels. I have spoken to people who smoked for years and then quit, they said the most difficult part was feeling like you needed a smoke because they felt out of breath and smoking seemed to "open" up their breathing.

I never liked the smell and I dated a guy once who smoked and it did not taste very good either when we kissed!

Welcome back Adol!! I was sooooo worried that maybe you had an infection or something from the surgery you had. Are you getting some of your energy back now? Were they able to give you medicine or did you have to be hospitalized again? Pneumonia can be very serious.
I hope you get stronger everyday!

No, scar is mostly healed.
I'm still very much tired most time. I was hospitalized for week but left because I was getting better. My energy still is not much but I try.

How are you?

Hi Adol! I’ve had pneumonia (well, aspiration pneumonia) several times before. I’m glad you’re getting better.

Did they give you a course of antibiotics to take at home to prevent another infection?

Welcome back! Glad you're feeling better. Pneumonia can be very serious! I contracted it a few times, and got a pneumonia vaccine. So far so good!

It'll take time, but the sluggishness will go away. Just try and take it easy.

I am hoping to stumble across a bunch of purple event items in the future to bombard her with.

Alas, my plan was foiled this event.

And thanks!
