waffles arent a big thing over here
i was so excited when i went to a waffle house in L.A and then their waffles werent even that great it was devastating
BUT that was the moment when i discovered about free drink refills so... also the greatest day of my life
like this father and daughter had just finished eating, and left and i was judging them for having left a half full drink, "my parents would have made me finish that so it wouldnt go to waste etc."
Then a minute later id just finished my drink and was almost done and they came over and gave me an entirely new drink
i was kind of staring at it like... fuck now i need to drink this whole thing or im a hypocrite and i already need to pee so bad

XD oh gods ry! i hate vvhen that happens though, I alvvays have to finish everything I get for takeout / eatin and such at restaurants because it's hovv I vvas raised or I feel guilty.
