I don't blame the owner. If everyone were completely respectful and responsible, it could be like we'd like it to be in a lot of places. All it takes is one idiot (causing damage, creating a nuisance or filing a lawsuit) to ruin everything for everyone.

Yeah, before it was all inherited out we went up to collect wood for the fireplace
Deadwood, so cleaning it out wasn't causing too much of a problem. Marked them out in summer
One guy tried to get dad in trouble for it

Turned out the guy was not only trespassing, he'd also an illegal deer stand or some such

I think I'd probably hate to go hunting. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to hurt the animals, and that's assuming I'd even be good enough to be in a position where I could hurt them.
