I’m going to ask what other levers you have. One for question marks, perhaps?

Also, I should have prefaced this by saying I can be mean.

Hopefully you will be able to "see" better though! You maneuver your way so well I am sure there won't be that many typo's and if there are...that's ok because we all make them!

18th is not far away! What do they do for setup? Can you link a pix of what type you'll be getting?

This is the software: https://www.tobiidynavox.com/en-US/soft ... nicator-5/

A jellybean switch looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/AbleNet-Jelly-Be ... op?ie=UTF8

I’m backing up files because all this works with windows, a surface pro in my case.

Insurance initially denied, predictably, but everything went through!

Setup involves unlocking the surface, mounting the switches, showing me and my parents how to use everything.... (I kind of know how to type, but mouse function can also be emulated, and I’m clueless there. The software also has lots of features.)

My typing and computer navigation will basically be reduced to nested binary decisions. Binary tree doesn’t fit as a descriptor because restarting a decision cycle is possible.

Ah, OK. Thanks for the links! The device is super simple (and surprisingly affordable considering). It's the software that's the killer!

Have you used a setup like this before?

No, I haven’t. I’ve declined a lot in the past 5 years. Setups like these are more common for ALS, I think, but everything I’m losing/have lost makes the setup make sense.

Switches don’t quite work without an interface, like a light switch still needs a circuit.

I’ll be sure to! Honestly, posting on Windlyn will be one of the first things I do, I think.

These are my priorities. :D

Today’s appointment was canceled to be rescheduled. The consultant is sick. I hope she feels better soon.

Oh, disappointing, but understandable--you don't want to get sick either!

Thanks for the update!
