I've always lived on the West coast and even though some area's get snow into March past that (unless you live in the mountain area's), it is generally only rain.

Yes I've been to beaches
Yes I had fun as a kid
Now? Not so much

I equate a sandbox as a giant litter box for animals... I like sitting and looking at the waves at the beach more then getting all sandy and I only like to swim in the ocean if it is warm water.

Nah, sandboxes don't work, cause sometimes you need wet sand, and I like to make a pool of water beside the castle. ^^

Yeah, I like hearing the ocean when I'm at the beach as well... And it is fun to swim once in awhile. Also, Canoeing, Kayaking, and Sailing is fun too! ^^
