I looked it up. Very nice area! I've been to the Finger lakes, Ithaca and Niagra Falls on the way to Toronto.

Are the Falls super noisy? I would imagine you'd have to yell to talk to someone if you were near them...

I've only been near very small water falls and they weren't all that noisy...maybe because the water was just gently tumbling over the edge.

no...but water from my faucet isn't very forceful either...not very good water pressure....now the sound of waves crashing on a stormy day is like thunder and I know how loud that can get.
