Lemon: they do sometimes, just enough to lightly dust the ground. I'm sure seeing lots of snow was a shock for them. It was for me.

Everyone should experience a really cold and snowy winter once in their lives...it might bring a whole new appreciation for what they have!

Khadijacandy...how long did you play?

I experience that every winter. We had a big storm the night before last. My dad drove me to work and back and it was slow going. The roads were really bad.

Animal Jam sounds like it could be a fun game

npixelz : when it snows that bad they don't close up where you work? (Like how schools have snow days and close for the day?).

I hope you don't have to drive far then in the bad weather! Your Dad must be doing better if he is driving!

Not really. At my old job they'd sometimes close down but that hasn't happened at my new job yet.
It's not far, thankfully.

Oof, I know the feeling. Sometimes you have a million things planned and somehow you only get one thing done.

My work doesn't close even for the holidays, so it's not going to close for snow. Curse working in retail.

I agree though lemon.

Hopefully you get double pay if you work the holiday then, Shamus...I get the holiday's off but no holiday pay because they can work us 39 hours a week and keep us in "part time status" so we don't qualify. Of course admin gets it off with pay...how that ever came about is beyond me...oh ya, salary versus hourly. If that is the case how come they still can get overtime pay? erghhh :frustration:
