Wow, you did a lot of things! ^^ sounds like a lot of fun!

There is one thing I'm confused about; you mentioned mobility issues and health, so I wanted to know if maybe you have a disability? I'm sorry if I'm prying, and you don't have to answer, I just wanted to know because of what you said. Sorry! ><

npixelz, I believe watery mentions her health issues in the beginning of this or her other thread...

I hope you get on before the event is over Watery, but if you don't I have sent you and your mule some gift boxes and let me know what you are missing.

But what does it mean? Do I hug her with boxes in my hands?
Do I hire people to dress up as a gift boxes and ask them to hug her?
Do the gift boxes just hug her, despite being inanimate objects?!?

I think the gift boxes hug her, and when they do, they're like plushy versions of gift boxes, so it's very soft and cuddly. ^^

ellos, I'm back! I ended up sleeping through most of Valentine's day ^^; I tried to get on last night but it was too late.

Mur - As long as it's gentle hugs I don't care how you hug me with giftboxes xD

It's ok. Yes I'm disabled. I have fibromyalgia and some mobility issues that aren't really understood. (It's not inner-ear related.) I'm starting physical therapy again so that should help some. As well as seeing different doctors for different things. Tomorrow I see a therapist.

Watery: It sounds like it is a daily battle for you but we are happy that you have such a positive disposition despite all the pain and inconveniences you have to endure. I truly hope you can find a medical facility that can actually be of help.

Oh, I never knew. I'm sorry. But I hope everything works out. I have a friend with mobility issues, he has to walk on braces. Not like how someone with a broken foot does, more like his arms become two extra legs when he uses them. The good thing is though; he's always in a great mood, and barely lets anything get to him. I've admired him for being strong enough to get through it with a smile on his face, since the day I met him. I myself have some mental problems, and disabilities, but at least I can move normally.
I'm not sure which is worse, physical problems, or mental. On one hand, physical has full mental capabilities, and is more easily noticeable, so it can be better diagnosed and treated, on the other hand, mental has full physical capabilities, and though it's not as easily noticeable, at least that means that whoever has it is less likely to be bullied or attacked.

Thanks. Things aren't so bad if I keep myself preoccupied and don't have to go out anywhere.

Hm, I think mental issues are tougher because they are less understood. Although when my arms go limp it's so frustrating. But I try to just watch something and not let it get to me.

that's good, at least.

yeah, I suppose you're right. after all, in the past, people didn't even think of a mental disability as a disability, it was just someone being retarded, or weird. whereas people have thought of physical disabilities as disabilities for much longer.

I think people in general have more patience with person's with physical disabilities then with mental disabilities and maybe that's partly because a person with emotion or mental disabilities can react irrationally to what the considered norm is and can not always be reasoned with to be able to help them.

Yeah. I know that a lot of things people think are normal can set me off. And I know that that might frustrate many 'normal' people.
