I watched a show on the fall of the Tulip market ...it was amazing how much real money people spent on one bulb with the right conditions.
Today shopping I saw tulips growing in a vase...no dirt...genetically engineered for hydroponic growth. What would the Dutch have thought of that 100's of years ago...I'm surprised someone had not figured out that bulbs reproduce quickly and there can be a glutton of them on the market...then again there are also diseases that can just as easily kill them all.
