MissAutumn: then overtime, grueling as it can be, is a good thing right now to help you towards your goal.
If you have a chance do some premarital counselling...or a work book to do on your own...it will at the least give you an idea of if you both are on the same page instead of just assuming you are and finding out later you don't think the same on major issues.
Do some goal setting as well...for example... I am going to work for 5 years and then try to get pregnant...if I get pregnant who is going to be at home with the kids...can we keep our costs so we can live on one income...what kind of vehicle to get...what style of home do we prefer... how important is a spiritual/religious involvement...separate bank accounts or joint - or both...do you like to travel (simple as this one is, if one of you does not and the other does, it can become a big issue later).
