I've been working on the outside but really need to get clearing up the piles in my room...some of it is just items that need to be taken to Good will or the homeless shelter.

She wants to get me to the er (urgent care is closed for the night) to get my toe checked out
She and my sister think it's broken
I think it's just badly bruised
But the key fob died so the car isn't recognizing the key and the spare is with dad and he's at work and won't be home until sometime after midnight

Broken toes and fingers aren't really time critical. If you're not bleeding and it's still attached, it can wait if you're not in pain. I've broken toes and they can't do anything for you other than trape it up.

Hope it gets better soon!

Bahaha dad didn't take me cuz he says no point
Over here they don't even tape it
I'm on day 4 of it and I didn't tell them until well into day 2
Poking and prodding it now, not much in the way of pain. Maybe some slight irritation, but no real pain

And the car battery died lol

Sometimes they can reset it....but I have a fracture on my foot near my toes that healed "thick" so it still bothers me when I exert too much pressure on it. There is always the "foot bootie" to wear until it heals up. Those are inexpensive at the grocery store. I stubbed my toe once and almost lost the nail, it just heals up very slowly...sorry you have to hobble around, glad it seems to be healing up.

Car batteries are like that. There's a definite lifespan to them, but no one keeps track of how old theirs are so they die when you don't expect it. Most autoparts and big box stores will test them for free and will give you an idea of the condition of you battery/approximation of how much longer it'll go. Once you get near the guaranteed lifespan (60/72/84 months), they'll go on for a little while, but will fail eventually. Planned obsolescence if you ask me! (Conspiracy theorist at heart.) ;)

Glad your foot is not painful! Hobbling around favoring the other foot leads to other problems that take even longer to heal.

I'm not hobbling, thankfully

Tho I do keep stubbing the big toe of that foot and it has a blood blister again
Least this one's smaller

Not tripping on the stairs would be much better because that's where I get one on that toe every goddamn time

oh no, I think I've been jinxed! I stubbed my toe (the one next to the baby toe...how does that happen?).

Hope your toes are feeling better. You must have hit it pretty hard if it has a blood blister.

Weirdly enough I can hit the corresponding toe on the other foot just as hard or even harder and not have even a bruise
So I think the one that keeps getting blood blisters is sensitive
