Some medications make people sensitive to the sun...sometimes we develop allergies as we get older.

I had a substitute teacher in primary school that had sensitive skin and could't stay out in the sun. Poor teacher had to take us out for a morning run on the oval in a long sleeved turtle neck, long pants and a huge hat.

Now that you mention it I had a friend who was so pasty white she would burn very easy and liked to be covered up all the time.

Some people tan so easily and rarely burn, they are so fortunate! Sadly I burn before I tan so I have to be careful of my exposure.

Yeah

I'm so glad I'm not like that.
That's terrible.

Indeed. I used to have no allergies, but now I'm allergic to cats, dust, and freshly cut grass.

That must've been horrible.

Rip.
I don't know which I do, since I rarely go out in the sun.

My eyes are extremely light sensitive. Just a cloudless day is overwhelming. Even when I'm indoors, glares on screens bother me.

I think some people are allergic to sunlight--in that they sneeze when the sun shines on them even when the it's through a window and they're indoors.

Vivianne, can sunglasses help? Do you know about polarized glasses (not sunglasses) that gamer's use for e-sports? Polarized sun glasses reduce glare pretty well when you're in bright light, but gamer glasses work for indoor and low level lighting situations like when working on a computer.

galled - I need to look into polarized sunglasses, thanks! Sunglasses help on cloudy days, but on sunny days don't do much.

Polarized lenses basically only let in light perpendicularly aligned to your eye. They're specifically developed to reduce/eliminate glare. I'd image they'd help. You can usually try on sunglasses at many stores. You can see if you think they may help before buying. A store like gamestop may have gamer (non-tinted and high-visibility) versions you might be able to try.

My Mom uses the wrap around sunglass lenses so that no sun comes in from the corner's of her eyes. Her eyes are very sensitive, she has to take medication for them.

I got to pick Clementine oranges today...so fresh and sweet and delicious!

My eyes are also sensitive to light, but not as sensitive.
And it's not just light.
Like, if I see someone with something up with their eyes, my eyes water
