I don't think i heard about that... I don't really watch the news but all they're talking about is some Cricket cheating scandal and i'm not really interested.

I just wonder why they do it? What over whelms, or over rides, their need to survive and keeps them from realizing to be out of the water causes eminent death? Even if you are "following the leader", do you follow them to death? One of the article's said that even if you get the whales back out to the water, some of them just rebeach themselves!!

I feel sorry for them too...but those whales are of the dolphin family and I think dolphins beach themselves as well. Now...if sea lions and seals can stay out of water why can't dolphins and whales develop their lungs? I've seen the whales at the sea life parks and they can jump out of the water and "laugh" and such...so if a whale was floating in the water at the shoreline why can't it survive since it is still in water?

They are both air breathers. However their skins are susceptible to drying out and sunburn. I believe whales suffocate due to their massive weight (water reduces the effects of gravity). I don't know why dolphins die on shore...

I don't know... It's so sad, and I don't know... Why does it happen...? Why does anything, or anyone throw their life away...? Why is the world so cruel...? Why is society so cruel...? Why do we live...? To die...? To "contribute to society" or something...? But why is that needed? Why do we exist? Why does life exist? Why does anything exist? In the grand scheme of things, why are we here? Why is the universe here? Why is reality here? Is there even a grand scheme of things? Or is there no point to any of it? The whales beaching themselves and dying, the people who are living in dumps because they are so poor, the animals that are hunted every day and are going extinct, the people who can't live normal lives due to a disease, the people who commit suicide for reasons known only to them, the people who get abused by others daily, what's the point of it all? WHAT'S THE POINT!? WHAT REASON IS THERE FOR THIS!? WHAT REASON IS THERE FOR ANY OF IT!? WHY DO WE EXIST!? WHY DOES LIFE EXIST!? WHY DOES REALITY EXIST!? WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!? ... ... ... .... .... Ahem. Um, sorry about that, I got a little carried away. If you'll excuse me for a moment. *walks to a corner and screams into a pillow*

oh no! How about on to brighter things...Easter is coming! A time to focus on the fact that, although the world is in a fallen state, because of the sacrifice of one life, there is hope for tomorrow and our lives can change for the better.

But oddly, Easter falls on April Fool's day this year.

Boiled eggs instead of chocolate erggs always seemed like an April Fool's day trick for Easter to me. I liked to decorate the outside of the eggs but I sure didn't like eating the boiled eggs...besides, if you leave them out for so long don't you think you should worry about salmonella or ecoli or some such bacteria - now that would be a NASTY April Fool's day Easter joke.
