It's never been delved into further but it was something she said in the game when you take her on from what I saw recently in a Play through online.

Maybe it was a small add on in fire red and leaf green? Cause nothing like that ever popped up in the originals. At least I'm pretty sure not.

No because it was JWittz I believe Top Ten Favorite Elite Four and Champions video. He said he was only using the Game Canon and nothing else so it was shown in the games. XD

Hmmmm all I can guess is they must've added it to the new games... Was the video in color or just one shade of color xD

Yep. That would explain it. Adding extra stuff to the story line in the new games xD

It makes the games more awesome though if you think about it because it adds on to the story. Heck if you go by that line and then N in Pokemon Black and White they could almost be from the same family! After all N didn't like Professor Juniper at all!

Yeah but by the time they made black and white 2 the anime was still being released... But with the first ever game they really should've left it as was... For the most part. No extra additions xD
