Haha, I’ve encountered arguments that we are all a computer simulation.

I try not to question reality too heavily, or I get really confused.

But magenta is fake.

From what I've read some of these philosophies have been around since before computers

So if magenta is fake and it's just void, does thus mean that every time we color the void we're using the wrong color?

I should look those philosophies up when I want to confuse myself.

IFrom what I understand, the brain is inventing a color to deal with a paradox. I guess magenta is a wrong color. I wonder if only the fully saturated version doesn’t exist or if none of them do. I’m going to start calling it magneta because it’s like trying to stick two north sides of a magnet together.

How is it all of our brains see magenta then? Does a color blind person see life as it really is then? Did you read the book "The Giver", where they saw no color?

Here’s a cursory overview: https://www.thoughtco.com/what-is-the-w ... nta-606166

It’s puzzling. Maybe it’s an illusion?

Yes, I read The Giver but I hated reading it. I know authors don’t always believe what their characters do is right, but I found release upsetting.

It feels like one of those visual illusions where you see things that aren’t there.

Yeah! I hate those grids and ghost circles. Give me headaches.

Aw, cute kitty. Here’s a cat observation I came across:

“If the world was flat, cats would have pushed everything off it.”

Cats also occupy too much space in physicists’ minds.

Or just too much space in general.

Re: Magenta

What's funny is my dad is color blind and he says reds, browns and greens all look the same to him. I imagine they look like shades of magenta to him. :/

Heh cats.

Kind of a nosy tangent, but does he drive at night?

Trees must look super strange to him...year round.

Cats either squeeze into impossible places or take over dog beds. I saw it on the internet so it must be true.

He did, but not much anymore. He said he could tell which traffic light is which by the position.

At night, too?

I guess I don’t see well in dim light!
