People are unbelievably demanding sometimes and want everything to meet their unrealistic standards. It’s horrible and I really wish you (or anyone!) don’t have to deal with it.
Working in almost anything takes the shine off of things, I think? You realize how much effort goes into this thing, and the magic is gone.

My mom worked for a decade or so in a retail environment and it just got way too stressful. Phones would be ringing, she had to contact other people and deal with drive thru and walk in customers, and that was just some parts of her job that required interaction. She frequently had to do it with little to no help or in a very busy environment.
So, yeah, I respect retail and people-facing workers a lot.
