Xye: It was very nice going to her studio. She gives one of her prints, that she made while she was battling cancer, away free to people who have had or are battling cancer. The back of the print tells her story. It was quite inspirational. She said she got the idea from when she had her chemo treatments and a lady was giving hand made head scarves away - so she wanted to do something for others too.

We finally got a little bit of rain. Not enough to make much difference, but we hope it's sign of more to come this year.
