There isn't much in the way of options for cruise ships
Carnival Glory isn't on the base, so they had to walk. The breeze while riding was nice

Edit: I see small boats flying around so I think it's less in and more gotta cross through part of it
It's Navy and Coast Guard so it stands to reason that they have docks

I never really thought much about the logistics of cruises.

That many people, to be fed and entertained, while at sea, is a really complicated problem even with stops.

Everything else if you aren't stupid you can escape easily

Course that blows off all the logic of getting on a cruise ship has at least as much security as an american airport these days but then again horror movies like to break logic from what I understand sooooo

Or the movie maker can time travel to the 90s.

If they don’t have a time machine, they could set the movie in the 90s, but where’s the fun in that?

I believe one of the Agatha Christie Peroit murder mysteries was set on a cruise.

We even had our own Pengwing mysteries on a cruise.

Death by measles sets it either a long time ago or right now.

I remember a Columbo episode was on a cruise (with the never-seen Mrs. Columbo).

That looks like an interesting show! A bit nonlinear as to the way murder mysteries are traditionally told, but I bet it’s fun watching all the pieces fall into place.

Columbo? An awesome and entertaining show if you like detective shows! I liked their take on things--it's not about who did it, but how Columbo uses his smarts to create an air-tight case against them. His bumbling personality is very endearing once you get over his appearance. LOL

I think I read Columbo showed the crime taking place? That’s not often done.

I’m trying to locate actual scripts with scene descriptions, but obviously those aren’t frequently available.

Exactly. You see the crime, you know who did it and how they did it and a lot of the time the motive. Having Columbo connect the dots is fascinating. They probably have vision impaired versions around (where a narrator fills in the visual things not spoken by the actors. They come out like the old radio shows.). It was a pretty popular show that went on for many years. I can't remember off hand what they call it. SDH or SAP or some such. Stand by!
