Transcript files that work with video players are .SRTs but are more closed captioning than anything else. I once found a transcript online that had some scene descriptions, which was nice.

I’m in a tiny minority that needs scene descriptions and audio descriptions. It’s not a good idea for me to watch a video longer than a couple minutes if I have to spot details. My bad eye gets really dry and can take weeks to recover with almost hourly artificial tears.

Edit: thank you so much! I’m saving this for the spring, when the weather is better for my eye. The auto captions seem accurate (I’m guessing because of the sound quality), and reading them is slightly easier than following a Live Transcribe conversation.

I’ll hunt around on my own so you don’t have to spend more effort on me.

This looks so great! :D I can’t wait to get started.

Great! I'm happy it might work. I'm a detective/murder mystery fan. I guess I like feeling like I'm an active participant in the show/book/work because I'm trying to solve the "puzzle" as I go along as opposed to just being a passenger along for the ride so to speak. If that makes sense. :)

Maybe when you get through one we can chat about it. I binge watched every episode a year or so ago! lol

Sure! It’s going to be a while, though, since I need humid-but-not-hot-or-cold weather. Maybe I can get away with sneaking little bits sooner...

Wow, that’s a lot of TV! This is exciting; I haven’t been able to watch a new-to-me series besides nature stuff in years.

OKAY SO
Yesterday: Key West, which I've mentioned
Today: Cozumel, Mexico. We won't be there until around noon
Current weather: hot and cloudy
Planned things: zipline at Cozumel
Mood: tired, maybe. Kinda hard to tell if it's that or if being on a moving ship bothers me. Also excited because now I can actually go on a zipline
They're bringing out stuff to sell, it looks like for donations for some place or other by the sign i glimpsed
Imma go get some ice cream and get brain freeze today cuz somehow that shit is fucking icy here and ifjvjfjjskskg
Still nice and cold and yummy tho

It did for a few moments
Not as long as the rain while I was chilling up in Club Serenity (21+ pools, lounge chairs, couple other chair types, and beds, all outdoors)
Everyone else freaked out and hid during those sprinkles. I covered my phone, charger, and glasses and relaxed in it

Yes, yes it was

Cozumel! Bumpy
Zip lining was fun
Didn't realize I needed to bring a bathing suit for the snorkeling so I had to bow out, but apparently it wasn't worth it. Choppy water and few fish
Rented a locker because can't take anything on the zipline in case it falls, four girls were planning on a two and Switch s their stuff was watched, they couldn't do that and because I'd rented a locker that had only a few small things, I let them use mine too. They were very happy about it, because less trouble to find me to get to it than to decide who was going to lose out on the zip lines
There were also the tall bridges that use the harnesses and stuff too that we had to go over first
My cousin did not like them, and on the zip lines kept swearing
For me, I was hooked on the wrong line for the first bridge (oops) and then I kept whacking my head on the low ceiling lines for the zip lines
There's three towers you go on, so the line's in three parts
Then you can either walk down the stairs or repel (sp) down the side. Most went down the side. Like a rock wall but no rock wall
Cousin was guilt tripped into buying an overpriced sombrero because the employees are pretty aggressive here, which was hilarious when we found the same hats at a lower price elsewhere
Then we had pictures taken at these four fake donkeys by a guy who does it on a phone. In this case, my phone. Dude knows more about my phone camera than me lol
My cousin's kid had to learn what foreign meant, among other things, so he's getting a learning experience out of it
Tomorrow is all on water, and Friday we return to Miami
Yeehaw

Wow, exciting day. How’s the food?

Haha getting guilt tripped into buying souvenirs. XD happens a lot to tourists to China.

Have you had a lot of time to explore on your own? I think you said your other family members would be relatively preoccupied?

Didn't try the local food, back on board and having sushi
I should've ordered only two, I got five oops

The guy who got her tried with me, I pointed to my hat and said I got one. He laughed and didn't try again

When we're out and about, most of us stick together. My one aunt and uncle, who knows. I've seen her maybe twice since getting on and him not at all
On the ship, we tend to scatter

Found the sushi place and because I'm trash I got some. Too much oops but it's good, I'll shove it all down
I have discovered that I can handle sushi with chopsticks now. I couldn't last time I had sushi

And for today: there was apparently some super formal dinner I was supposed to go to but seeing as I didn't see anyone from my group today, I learned nothing about time or location
So I'm mostly packed (pjs I have on now need packing, and I left tomorrow's outfit out), and I'm hoping I've got everything ready to roll for tomorrow because otherwise there's a shitshow going on
Oh wait getting on and off of anything is a shitshow. New day same shit
I am leaving my room to be rather tidy, I think, but I imagine that rules will have them clean the place up anyway
Idk if I should leave a tip, I did the first day and they returned it
Gonna sleep with the window shades open so i can wake to the sun tomorrow and have time to finish up

Did I mention that I'm sunburnt?

...where did everyone in your group go? You guys are on the same ship! Are your rooms spread out?

I think they’d have to tidy anyway. Can’t risk passengers after you.

There might be a policy that they can’t accept tips, or if you’re leaving cash, it may be judged to be unfair to certain workers.

Here’s an article I found:
https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=132

Ouch. Too much sun, then? Hopefully it heals quickly. At least you can hide indoors soon, maybe?
