Transcript files that work with video players are .SRTs but are more closed captioning than anything else. I once found a transcript online that had some scene descriptions, which was nice.
I’m in a tiny minority that needs scene descriptions and audio descriptions. It’s not a good idea for me to watch a video longer than a couple minutes if I have to spot details. My bad eye gets really dry and can take weeks to recover with almost hourly artificial tears.
Edit: thank you so much! I’m saving this for the spring, when the weather is better for my eye. The auto captions seem accurate (I’m guessing because of the sound quality), and reading them is slightly easier than following a Live Transcribe conversation.
I’ll hunt around on my own so you don’t have to spend more effort on me.
