A pen and a knife would be interesting - it's like saying 'No, the pen isn't automatically mightier than the sword, always choose your weapons and methods wisely' from beyond the grave. Plus, there's so many ways to make them beautiful, from blade, nib, handle, and body.
And then maybe I could haunt them and they'd become legendary cursedt artifacts after a thousand years

Yow, instead of a pen AND a knife, why not combine both? I used to design weapons during age 13-14 -ish and one of the weapon is pen-like but it's supposed to be stabby stabby. The pen has different buttons, pressing that will release different venom or poison at the tip of the stabby stab, or even different COMBINATION of these venom/poison. But due to sizing issue, it came as a disappointment to my teen self that we cannot fill it with much venom and poison, hence constant refilling is required. Also part of the design flaw was in the cloaking of that thin tube (where venom or poison passes through). Teen-self too ignorant to know that chemicals exist that assist in the cleaning process AHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHA, but here we are now in this age of advance technology and knowledge of sciences. It's supposed to disguise as a pen, but part of me also wanted to install a small blade, around 2-inches ish that would flip out when needed, ya know, just in case.
silverberry wrote:Wait, so that's a poisoned knife that looks like a pen? DANG, the poison combination sounds incredibly interesting. And LMAO I don't think a poisoned knife disguised as a pen would need to be used more than once or twice, so the constant refill shouldn't be much of a downside. It sounds perfect for covert operations.
I was thinking, if it were one object, it would be a pen on one end then a knife on the other. But having the knife blade would drastically decrease the amount of ink that could be put in, or else make it a weirdly long pen. Most pen knives I've seen shorten the ink cartridge so a blade could be attached.
Cilencio Cerbera wrote:OHHHHH Good point! I was thinking of a semi-durable knife, 2 inches in length, 0.5 cm in width. It'll have to be at the opposite end of the poison and their vials, mainly as ya said, on the ink cartridge issue, and partly on the entire stability and strong structure of the pen itself. If the tiny blade is located at the tip area, I'm afraid it may have a higher potential to 'break' or damage the tubes connecting the poison/venom. Ya know those flippy knife, where the blade is stored inside the knife handler? Yeah was thinking of having the blade to be hidden inside the pen.
Another cool design would be, hmmm how to say it in words... OH! Ya know those pens with mini calendars inside where ya have to manually change the date everyday by turning the circle thingy with holes that shows the date, month, and year? It'll be awesome if we design these metallic circles around the pen, with the function to facilitate in the mixing of venoms and/or poisons. But the execution of this idea will be time-consuming, and not feasible in the long run. Only suitable if the user has time to even twist the circles lol, aint nobody got time for this during emergencies HAHAAHAHAAHAHAAH. I got one of those calendars pen as a gift from uncle, dismantled the entire thing once the ink ran out because was too curious on the mechanism behind it. Fail to fix it back, but it was worth it for the learning process HAHAHA.
