I hope everyone is starting to build their feather bank so that they are ready when we get new items. I loved the meadow back ground we just had and was so happy I had enough feathers to buy a spare. How about you? Do you try to buy a spare in the backgrounds?
Sincerely,
Ginger

Dear Galled,
No, but I wish it did because I like fancy pens a bunch... in fact, a friend said they would buy me a $50 amazon gift card... I just can't decide between a lamy safari pen or a platinum preppy, and I can't get both because getting them both would put me over $50since I am also buying a bulb syringe, converter, and a bottle of diamine onyx black ink.

So I finally arrived back home yesterday from my trip. It's so nice to sleep in my own bed again and eat my own food too. Hahah
Also was happy to see my cats and my younger siblings again.
Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was busy catching up on things in other sites.
I'm back now though and trying to get back into the swing of things. I hope you all have been well!

Sincerely,
JinMay

Dear Boris,
I'm sorry, I thought you were kidding about the pen. :strain:

That's so cool that you like traditional looks and that there are modern tech versions. Do you use them to draw or write? Cursive and handwriting is going to be a lost art in a generation or two. While my handwriting has never been considered great, I now print like a kindergartener -- maybe first grader. :)

I'm sure whichever you decide on you'll enjoy it. Especially since a friend is the one providing it for you!

Your pen pal,
galled

I was joking at first, but then a friend told me they would get me a $50 amazon gift card, which thrilled me to bits! I do know which pen I'm going to get, though. Also, I think I wanna invent a virus that makes technology fall back for a while so the cursive wouldn't be a dying art form... by the way, do you know any other sites that allow for cursive fonts? I want as many profiles to be in cursive as possible... I love cursive.

Also, on another site, an admin said "With your obsession over cursive handwriting, it comes as no surprise whatsoever that you like fountain pens. ;)" which warms my heart.

[+] SPOILER
Dear Lemon,
Well I played games with my lil nephews and we even went over to the mall.
I wanted to buy them stuff but they never asked me for anything and I wasn't sure what they liked.

Then on the last day, we went to Pier 39 in San Fransisco. It was way too cold though and I was wearing shorts so I bought some leggings. I also bought a pretty cross necklace and a T-shirt with San Fransisco on it.

We had to leave quick though because my body was starting to hurt and tense up from the cold.
Because of my health, I can't be in really cold places for long.
It was fun though. Heheh

I was more excited to see the little seals there and you could even see Alcatraz from there!
It was awesome!
Sincerely,
JinMay

Dear JinMay,
San Francisco can be a windy city so next time you go for sure bring a jacket ! Ohhhh I thought you went to Sacramento not San Francisco! Did you ride any trolley's in San Fran? I have only been there once and I found the steep hills kind of scary. Are you looking for a summer job soon?
Take care,

This is a cute idea, though I'm so late to the party, lol.

But would I be lucky to travel out towards the western US. I just want to see the Pacific Ocean, lol. Maybe walk in the water. I don't know about swimming in it though, because I heard it's colder than the Atlantic. And yes, I've been to the Atlantic and swam in it, lol. But that was so many years ago. I wanna go back. It was like over 10 years ago.

New stamps are coming out in the US! "A special coating applied to selected areas of the stamps during the printing process gives them a texture that mimics the feel of a:
baseball’s stitching;
golf ball’s dimples;
tennis ball’s seams;
soccer ball or volleyball’s textured panels; and,
the different raised patterns of a football, basketball and kickball."
