...are pumpkins sold year-round? I only ever see them in October.

Maybe they carve watermelons for practice.

I don't think so! Plus I think this time of year would be when they grow
Maybe not though
That would make sense! They have a similar skin!

Yeah, they’re definitely more geometric. Maybe there are differences between carving watermelon and pumpkins.

I wonder what else people carve... obviously, people whittle wood, and I have a painted coconut half.

Whoa, that is so cool. Must require a lot of delicacy and patience.

Ice sculptures deserve a mention, too. I like to call them fancy igloos you can’t live in.

Yeah! Avocados are so smushy.

There doesn’t seem to be a limit to what types of food can be carved. I googled ‘food carving’ and saw a tomato.

That carved avocado is truly amazing! (That person should become a plastic surgeon!).

Somewhere we had a thread that posted carved pumpkins. Gizzy usually posts her carvings end of October.

Oh what?! You can carve tomatoes. There are some amazingly creative and talented people out there.

We need to find that thread and show off our pumpkins nearer to Halloween. :)
