Most of my friends there are from my old high school. There's one girl who posts about her depression, self injury, and suicide attempts. Normally I'd feel sorry for and sympathize with these people, but I'm certain she's after the sympathy comments and people telling her how brave she is. We all have problems. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

She's had multiple hospitalizations. If you really wanted to kill yourself, you would have done it by the 6th one.

I wouldn't say that Engrave I dealt with suicidal thoughts for a very long time. I never told anyone but my one friend because I was crying out for help. She didn't tell anyone about it and my depression grew worse. I thought about it but never attempted it. When I finally did I got caught and my family was shocked that I had these thoughts. Took me some time before I stopped thinking the thoughts.

I've been through it too. But I don't announce it publicly every time I go through something rough. I've been in the ward and I've seen people with an array of disorders. Most of them are withdrawn and keep to themselves. This girl, she photographs some tiny superficial scratches on her wrist and everyone has to comfort her and let her know how strong she is for coping.
