The nice thing about bulbs is that they grow on their own and you really don't have to do much gardening with them. You can have them in a flower pot, Watery and not be worried about allergies. I do have to take an antihistamine everyday and shower after working in my garden but it is worth it to me.

I live where it is warm all year long, npixelz. My flowers fortunately bloom year round and only once in awhile get frost bite damage. I used to live where it got cold...really cold...but don't want to do that again.

I see. I wouldn't like to live somewhere where it's warm all year. The summers must be sweltering. Also I like the snow, as long as I'm not walking in it for too long. It just looks so pretty.

So remember that I said that I hear about such stories at least once a year?

BBC News - Bassaleg homes evacuated after WW2 bomb found in Newport

I'd rather live somewhere colder but not as wet as it is where I live. Would be nice to have flowers all year round.

Too close for comfort!

We got some rain but not anywhere near what we should have by now. I've lived where it has been super cold ( minus 60 with the wind shield factor), which was an interesting experience but wouldn't want to make it a lifetime. It had its pros and cons. I definitely prefer dry snow over wet snow though. But flowers all year is my paradise!

Crazy busy time at work so I will be on less then I'd like to be but that is how it goes some day's.
Hope you all are having some interesting moments!

Sounds scary.
I'm fine with where I am.

Indeed.
Hmmmm.... I wonder why.
I get that. Indeed. Flowers are great.
That's ok, I'll keep the inn nice and cozy for you whenever you're on.

Take care Lemon!
I have been interested in house plants like succulents.

Miss Autumn: Glad it was disposed of safely but still scary.

I like mild weather and experiencing the changing of the seasons.

Ye!
Cool, what have you learned?

Indeed.

I like it when it's mild but there's a pleasant breeze. I love the wind.

Christmas "Cactus" can last a long time, reflowering every year...have you tried growing those?

One more day of long hours and then...rest!

Yay, enjoy your weekend Lemon!

I haven't taken care of any plants myself. Not sure where I'd put them.

Yeah! Have a good one!
Same.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening!
A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland!

I'm starting to look for Christmas gifts...got to get some for coworkers and thank you gifts ...any good <and inexpensive> ideas?

I bought some storage containers on sale and was thinking of putting things in the storage containers like I bought some tea towels on sale and am looking for some tea on sale and not sure what else, maybe a cool kitchen gadget, coasters or something as well? Because of covid I don't really want to bake anything. So maybe the items they could use to bake themselves?

I thought about maybe a spa theme, I got some epsom salts for soaking feet, looking for candles on sale. Do people use the foot scrubs? Purse size hand lotion?
