I'm half way through with my Christmas gift list
I just hope that I'll be allowed to travel to England to see my family and friends over Christmas.

I agree with npixelz, chocolates are a good gift for coworkers. For a spa idea could you get a nice bath bomb? You can get some really cute looking ones.

Can you not just go to see your family? Here it seems people still travel even though its requested that gatherings are limited right now to only one or two households. It seems to keep changing but recently I heard they don't want more then 6 people for the holiday. What about families with lots of kids???

I hope you will be able to go see your family for Christmas but have contingencies in place just in case.

Lemon: Spa items would be especially nice with how this year has been.

My watermancy can't compete with The Jack Frost, master of ice!

Miss Autumn: Hope things work out so you can. Would you be able to do a virtual hangout if not?

CDC was advising against meeting in person over Thanksgiving. With so many spikes across the US it doesn't seem wise to travel. I still need to call my parents. :worry:

So fast!
I'll cross my fingers for you.
Thanks, chocolates have been my go to for years. At school? Wam! Give teachers chocolate. Sea cadets? Bam! Chocolate for the officers. Work? Rock! Chocolates!
Bath bombs might be nice.

It's all a big hellabelluga!
Indeed.

True.
Watermancy!? Sounds fancy.
Same. Oh, that might be an idea.
CDC?
I'm glad I live with my parents and can see them daily.

It's just been announced that rules are being relaxed over 5 days of the Christmas holidays. So I can go visit my family. :)

My family live about 100 miles away and in a high risk tier area. If the relaxation of rules didn't happen I wouldn't want to risk a £10,000 fine. The police do randomly pull people over to see why they're out travelling. It's happened to me on my way back from work.

Watery Star we would have done a video call. I don't really like having the m with my parents as they're not that tech savy lol.

Dang you have some heavy fines over there MissA ! I have a letter that says I am an essential worker so if for some reason I get pulled over if there is a curfew then I can show them that. But I think for the most part the curfew is aimed at keeping people from going out and partying. We don't have anything in place to keep people from going to another area.

I feel like I could soak my feet right now...so crazy at work I only got to sit when I was looking up something on the computer...nap time! Haha

Curfew is no travelling between 10 pm & 5 am unless essential worker.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm giving out turkey legs (bitten) as a gift if anyone does not have one. First come first serve!

Just post "turkey please!" on here

So I think I am to go towards the aromatherapy spa idea for gifts for coworkers. I'm thinking a candle, (Bath & Body works has on sale half price for $10 but the other stores often have $5 or less on sale), purse size hand cream, lip balm, & scented epsom salt foot soak (Dollar store had the spa naturals). Depending what I can find on sale I will throw some other stuff in there.

I should be able to do it for $20 (our cap) or less by buying things on sale but still be items of quality.

I think you all had a good idea to find something that would help others relax.
