Yeah, so it's a good thing she's with us because while we do want rent, it's not a hard thing and all the others haven't always paid rent so
Course, they've always been family friends too, which helps. I imagine a complete stranger would've been more on the "you need to pay the rent" thing

Mom is currently on remote work and dad's back to work, so they're both still getting paid, so money isn't really an issue for us
Meanwhile her family are assholes and greedy so they're trying to suck her dry

She has a place in Michigan she can move to, so she's using our house as shelter until she can afford the move
She's hoping mid-September

There is no anime expo this summer because of the corona virus event shutdowns so they emailed the links out and I shared it with you all hoping you could use it.

Spectrum won't install cable to the homes on our street. They said that their records show cable has been laid/installed on our street, but none of the crews they've sent out can find it. One of them told me that someone got paid to install the cable (the county requires cable for all new homes--and new ones have been built), but didn't do the work. :/

So they offered to install cable if we paid $10,000 for it (and our neighbors would get it for free). What a deal!
