That's cuz it's taking the live avi, hence when you change yours, it changes too
For a static, you're gonna have to save the avi you want to your device and then upload it onto an image hosting site, such as imgur

I see. I believe I tried imgur before and it didn't work. I think imgur didn't let me or something

There's other image hosting sites too, but imgur is one of the post popular

Only time I had a problem with imgur is back when Apple had and iOS update that caused imgur to not work, but that was years ago and it was fixed a couple months later

I'm lost (no surprise!). What exactly isn't working? I think there's just something being lost in translation and that it's solvable.

Best I can tell npix wants to share an image of their avi (or someone else's) but it keeps changing as the avi does and they want a static image rather than dynamic

AFAIK, Pix wants/needs to learn how to save an avi to ipad, upload to imgur, and then post that link. Shiro posted a step-by-step, but Pix got lost/stopped at the first step. We never figured out why/what's wrong.

Those of us without iPads have laid out what we do, but we're lost on how it works on an iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
