they call it morning sickness, but sometimes it is all day sickness! You have to go with what works for you...but generally small little meals throughout the day to keep your stomach from feeling empty and causing nausea. Bland foods like toast and crackers sometimes help. Hopefully smells aren't bothering you. I had one friend that had to carry around bags with her because anything set her off vomiting. Ugh. The good news is that generally by the second trimester your body has adapted and you feel better, but still eat small meals throughout the day because the baby gets bigger and squishes your stomach and organs making it harder to eat too much.

May the rest of the pregnancy be smoother for you,!

The ultrasounds they have now are like a photograph they are so clear ( versus it just looking like a digital blob) see if you are able to get a copy to keep.

If they "aren't sure" then it often is a girl, boys they will be able to see clearly! If you are having an amnio then of course they can tell for sure and also let you know if there may be any medical concerns. I had a friend who desperately wanted a girl and when she showed me her film I was like...do you want me to say nothing or disappoint you? Of course when he came along she was thrilled but she had difficult pregnancies and that was her second and she didn't have anymore. A couple other people had four boys and then a girl and another family I know had 5 girls and then a boy.A relative has 5 boys,( she said after the 4th boy she was stopping), but they are so adorable!

Xye at my first ultrasound, they gave me a cd of everything. At my 2nd, they printed out the best 2 shots. The face and the proof of gender. XD
i didn't have any of the morning sickness, so I have no advice on that. I made up for it in the 2nd trimester though! My cousin and ex roomie both had morning sickness and super easy 2nd trimesters. I had none and have had a pretty rocky 2nd trimester with round ligament pain. BUT it's all so much fun when you feel your new little friend move around. :D
