Although, I think for the sake of 'in case I need to sit' occurs, I'm going to be creative and make the wings wrap around me. Lol. I can see me now trying to skt with wings that long actually behind me....

That could be bad or you could add like a Velcro tab on the sides so that they discretely Velcro when you need to sit. *nods head*

Large wings can't have Velcro. From what I have found online, in order to make some large wings and have them hold, you need to first make a harness to go around your person and then you have to buy and bend CVC pipe to the shape you desire. Lol. That wouldn't be easy to take off. So I am just going to make them 'wrap' around me.

I don't mean Velcro at the back I meant Velcro on the tips so that way they can wrap around you and stay wrapped when you sit.

Its not that easy. Lol. You just can't 'move' the wings like that... The most I've seen is where you can out bolts in them to make them 'spread' out. Like you're stretching the wings to fly. But again, that's if you do them as if they are behind you. But I don't think it would look right if I didn't it like that.

Yeah. Plus I figure I will probably have less chance of hitting people when I turn around xD hahaha. Man I can't wait to get to working on this.... Before I start buying materials for anything though, I have to get the room booked.

Well I can buy those almost anytime I want to. Last year with the limit cap set for the first time there were still about 1000 spots open for walking at the con so I shouldn't have to fret too much with buying the badge early this year.

Comic Con is huge xD I don't think Otakon is quite that big... But Comic Con also specializes in american comics and Japanese. Whereas Otakon is more for the Otaku group xD
