Great haul!

I got myself a postcard sketchbook art set and tiger sticker from Leigh Ellexson's online shop. She's one of my favorite artists that I watch on youtube. I was so worried that it make get damaged bc it arrived after it snowed. But it was all in pristine condition.

Friend hit black ice and destroyed a phone pole. No damage to the transformer on it, or the lines

3 Lego sets, all Minecraft related, a small Harry Potter Lego set, new pyjamas, tooth brushes, food items, a painting by my sister, Luigi's Mansion 3, new Joycons for my Switch, a calendar, a new Minecraft pig ornament,a baby yoda thing, socks, a 3D Harry Potter puzzle, and maybe one or two more things I forgot about

Oof, glad your friend is OK. I slid off the road once on ice. No fun having no control! It's terrifying!! Luckily I was just creeping along so it was really low speed.

Black ice is no good. Guess she's ok though?

Glad your friend was ok and didn't hit anyone else. Must have shaken her up! Not much you can do with black ice. Even turning into the slide you still have no control.

The pole was pretty well rotten so it was about due to be changed out. So it basically shattered
The transformer that was on said pole looked like it was simply taken off and placed on the ground
No line damage
She hit at an angle, so only a corner of her truck got damaged
Learned the hard way that "all weather" is suitable for, say, Florida, or somewhere snow isn't really a thing
Got a shitton of scolding from her boyfriend. He was told by both dad and his aunt to back off on that aspect
Oh, and since she had her mom blocked and calling 911 apparently temporarily undoes blocks, her mom demanded more money in the meantime. More extortion yay. No she didn't pay and used a third party to inform her mom why she hasn't been spoken to in months
Rental company never called to inform her rental ready, so she called them. And then had about twenty minutes to get there before they closed for the day
Promptly got the rental stuck in the driveway. Considering the foot of snow, I'm not surprised

Yep, all weather tires only do well on front wheel drive vehicles. But nothing other than spikes can handle ice (even then you have to be diligent).

When I was in racing school they taught us to look and steer to the direction you want to go. Turning into the slide can get you into big trouble (they taught that to us in driver's ed and it took a while to unlearn that bad habit).

Luigi's mansion wasn't even originally for me. I ordered the new joycons with my mom and we also ordered a switch for my sister. While doing that we ordered three games; Zelda BOTW, and Zelda Hyrule Warriors, then the third was Mansion. I wanted all three to go to my sister, but my mom had thought one was for me, so a week or so later she asked me which one was for me and I told her they were all for my sister, but my mom said three games was too much and decided to gift me Mansion.

Thrown onto the usual line, but they have a second packout so it's even messier than usual. Plus two of the four (five if we count printer) still are learning, well, everything. The fourth person can do the whole line easily enough, i still struggle on the one part
But I just want to go home and go to bed. With my cats. But I still have over half the shift to go
And the diarrhea isn't helping

I feel you. Sometimes working can leave you tired and missing the comforts of home and free time. But when I get tired I try to think of the money I'm making and how it lets me be able to buy more comforts and help out my family.
