Nothing exciting. I'm just studying full time, getting wedding part 2 planning done and just spending a lot of time at home.

Yes, Miss A got hitched during COVID, so it was just an intimate affair. The plan was a shin dig after lockdowns for proper celebration!

I do hope your plans don't get way laid again, Miss Autumn ! Didn't you already have much of the planning for a reception already done? Can you still use the original plans? Is it going to be for the first year anniversary?

npixelz I got married in October but it was only the ceremony. We're having a blessing ceremony and a reception this year.

galled Yes, it's the 23rd October. The closest date we could get to our 1st anniversary.

Lemon Cheesecake Same here. It's looking likely that it's going to go ahead with the success of the vaccine roll out. Well last year we booked a new hotel for the wedding reception 3 weeks before our wedding because the original hotel kept avoiding us. A week later it got cancelled by lockdown so not much was planned. We've sorted out the new plans with the new hotel. Got to print and send out all the invites this weekend.

Something to look forward to with special excitement! I am finding the opportunity to meet together holds more significance these days. Amazing how much we don't realize how much we appreciate something until it is gone.

I never really had company over often. Every few months I'd invite my friends, and we'd have birthday and Christmas parties, but that was it. Now I'm constantly missing my friends

As humans I think we need that socializing - not constantly - but enough to keep us "charged". Kind of an innate need to keep us stabilized. I am so thankful that during tall the shutdowns I have gotten to work to fill that socializing need and to feel like I am being helpful instead of helpless.
You are kind of in that same position, Npixelz, you get to meet with people and are also doing something productive that facilitates helping others.
