Canadian Thanksgiving this week end. Hope everyone there can find a way to celebrate with friends & family. Roast turkey with mashed potato's and gravy and some pumpkin or apple pie sounds pretty tasty to me right now ... of course I had no lunch and am hungry for dinner right now!

It was nice and clean

Yup! It's on Monday, but we're having the dinner tomorrow (Sunday) instead, since most of the family is working Monday! I believe we're also having pumpkin pie. After least, we had better be having it. If we don't, I will be most displeased

Costco sells a huge pumpkin pie for really cheap (compared to other pie costs) and is delicious. I like to add whipped cream but some people like to add ice cream. Do you like your pie plain or topped?

I have discovered that we are NOT having pumpkin pie, we are instead having homemade pumpkin butter tarts

Tarts can be just as good - better if you are a crust person. Homemade - wow! What a treat!

They were good. Would've preferred an actual pie, but I liked them. Yeah, homemade, which is quite nice

A pie has thicker filling - I'm all for the filling, not a crust fan.

Then again, I also like pudding.
