Too bad the whole shifts don't overlap thing makes training hard
We do need to break him of this one habit that took him about a week to fall into
As the lead of the area, he's supposed to make sure that we are stocked with the stuff we need. He's human so he doesn't always succeed, and back when we had three shifts sometimes we'd do more on second and third than he'd anticipate so we'd have to summon a material handler to get us more. And of course sometimes shit happens and he just can't get to it
The lines only need one material handler right now, so one has been in our area. She never has her stuff cuz he just has her fetch it unless someone on first is already on it, which drives her up the wall
And when she's not here, there's a good chance I'll end up running the jobs she gets assigned. Which means waiting on the one material handler, who the company is literally waiting on retirement for, so can't work for at least an hour. He's so bad we've had to call the supervisor to light a fire under his ass
Thing is, how do we break him of that habit? We might end up having to wait until the material handler we have is back in her proper position for it to bite him in the ass
And then today I was over in a spot that I'm trained in but haven't done cuz the supervisors are trying to keep vpop from going after any of us for not producing enough of the thing cuz the regular one called off and instead of plenty of everything, I started with basically nothing and had to get one of the office workers who oversees a crossover point between the area I'm in and where the stuff all goes to in order to get the stuff I was short on
He might end up talking to our lead about that, ask him why that area was not stocked like it usually is
