Hey, I'm old enough to drive but still need someone to drive me :o There are a lot more reasons than just age to why people don't drive~ o3o

Yeah, I know. But my dad won't let us go into our 20's without our license. I mean, he has his permit, he just didn't have it on him so I couldn't let him drive.

I drive my friends around and 2 of them are 21, a year older than me. Lol.

Gotcha. xP I'm 23. I'm terrified of driving and due to various reasons don't. So i don't have a license. Fun thing though, still have to go to DMV for my ID...which needs to be renewed ;-;

Who pays for the insurance on the car you drive Monkeygirl, you or your Dad?

Juneberry: people tend to start driving later now, insurance costs on the cars...more traffic...more accessible transportation available (buses, walking distance, car pooling etc)... My Grandma never learned to drive and she died at 81 (although my Grandpa wanted her to drive because they did long road trips).

Lemon: That's true, and insurance is a big factor for us. We can barely afford it for one person xD But...The roads in New Jersey scare me too in general. Oh well.

Monkeygirl, you are very lucky because that is a big chunk of money to put you kids on your Dad's insurance. It maybe different in the state you are in though. When you go to get your own insurance it will show you have been driving and hopefully lower the rate for you as an individual.
