Grocery store last night only had one cashier working ... the line up was from the front to the back of the store! I felt so bad for the poor guy but he get a good attitude and worked as fast as he could.

I just wish stores would go back to 24/7. For the sake of nightshift workers who need to go to the store after work or before, depending on start/end time.

Same here. In the town I work all the shops are closed by 10pm. On evening shifts I tend not to leave work until 11pm. If I need something I have to drive to the next town which is not on my way home

Good you back MissAutumn! :cheer:

Are you still taking classes? Things open up again in your area? I watched a documentary style show on archaeological finds in your area of the world and thought of you!

Plus I looked at a link for where the sets for the Bridgerton series are shot & wondered if you have visited any of those areas.

Thanks, Lemon :3

I'm still at university. It's one of the reasons I've been away so long. I also got a part-time job working as a kitchen porter at the end of October so I'm either studying or working! The COVID restrictions are pretty much gone now. What's it like I'm your part of the world? Ooh, sounds interesting. What was the find? They found a few big Roman mosaic recently Iliad Floor London Floor

That reminds me that I still haven't watched S2 of Bridgerton yet. I'm guessing one of the locations is Bath? I've been there a few years ago

I love the sets and the clothes on Bridgerton!

check out: https://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisu ... -to-visit/

I did see the story about the Roman mosaic... so cool!

I'll have to think what show it was but generally they were looking at finds in farmers fields! Amazing Roman's had such a big impact in the UK its not what a person thinks about when they think about British history ... at least not me. Makes me want to go trudge up the fields over there, haha.

In my store, night shift works until 30 minutes before opening, and at that point day workers start to show up, and someone will have turned back on at least one self checkout lane for us go use

I got a potluck at work for Easter tomorrow. I made a pasta salad and chicken salad sammiches. I know they love my pasta salad, I made it at our last potluck, but I hope they like my sammiches.

I wanna do a little easter egg hunt for my nephew. Maybe I can find some cheap easter eggs and get some little dinos or something to go in them.
