In the meantime, I've been poking the bear, so to speak
We don't have any shift overlap with our lead anymore (both leads stayed on 5 eights for whatever reason), and he will only use one specific chair
I'll use it. And then leave it. And if I don't use it, I put it somewhere in the area that's not where someone works. Or was at that particular day
When I use it, I do have to lower the height by bouncing on it. Sometimes when I leave it way elsewhere I'll adjust it too
Coworker says that we're gonna get a rude note via the whiteboard we get our job assignments on
And if that happens he's gonna come in to his chair in front of the whiteboard

Have not found anyone who knows why he's so twitchy about that chair
He also always wear a hat-rag combo to where people think he's bald underneath

I have printer's tape for some reason, but not regular scotch tape. That would just end up causing a mess in my bag

Most do. Theoretically they all do, barring one, but some have that part broken. And we got all types. Most recent random addition is an office chair that I hear is really nice but the maximum height on that one is lower than the minimum of all the others
There's three, maybe four, that have armrests and back
Another 2-3 with just the back
And the rest have neither, is just the seat. Lead's is one of these, with wheels

And wheels are about a 50/50 shot. Some jobs having wheels is useful, others not so much

Also, if he went in today (considering the weather, I wouldn't blame him for calling off), he would've gone in to his chair in a crate. Crate's empty otherwise
Which, depending on how awake he is, if he didn't register his chair as gone, there's a good chance he may unintentionally take his own chair out of the area, which is an unwritten major no-no
But the thing is, I didn't take it out myself. I only set it up for someone else to do so
