Got TotK yesterday, my friend got it a couple days before and somehow I've already passed her

It's just one of those games. Idk how far you've gotten, but I don't consider myself very far at all even though I got it release day. I've just ran around the map for the most part lol.

Sounds like me when I got pokemon Violet for the first time! I wanted to explore! Unfortunately some areas had road blocks or things I couldn't do without story progression, and I had to do story to even be allowed to use Pokemon of a certain level... but I still explored everywhere I could within each area!
It was a lot of fun, so I'm sure yall are enjoying it in TotK, too!

Yeaaaaaah vioscar, despite their claims of open world choose your progression, was not
Game freak dropped the ball with that, which is a shame

I agree, they should have made everything start at the same level, then each area would go up in level once you beat an area

Yeah, from what I understand TotK does that
But I still don't have the stuff to really survive the current mobs so I haven't done any maingame stuff lol
