Have you tried using an umbrella as portable shade?

I don't think we have one, and my locker at work is small. Though if if was a small one maybe, and I would look fancy

But I also don't wanna be holding something the whole way, and I have a hat to protect my eyes

Wide brim hat and sunglasses help. A baseball cap works too, but remember sunblock for your ears and face!

I have a baseball hat, though when I was assisting a camp counselor way back when I used a wide brimmed hat! I should put sunscreen on my face, yeah, but my ears ATM are covered in hair... I need a haircut lol. I wear glasses so regular sunglasses won't work, but they are transitions so they do well enough ty for the suggestions!

Even though we had lots of rain this winter we are pretty dry now.

Our fire work shows are done over the ocean.

I just might watch them online ... or not at all ... I don't like big crowds & traffic is a nightmare to go watch in person.

I have friends who ride their bikes to watch the fire works but too many miles for me plus I'd have to ride home in the dark.
