I have friends who went to holiday in another Province since the smoke in Ontario has been so bad.

It's frightening how long it is taking to extinguish the fires there.

Sadly, many of our fires are set either purposely or by irresponsibility of people.

I worry about the lithium batteries being an issue as they get older. Are they just time bombs waiting to happen?

I never thought about broken solar panels ... what can be done to recycle or upcycle those?

Can solar panels be cut down to be reused as smaller solar panels ??

They just wear out and are garbage at that point. I suppose you can recycle the glass covers. IIRC, there are something like a three hundred million solar panels installed in the US alone so far--which will all have a lifespan of about 15 years.

we have so many rusting appliances, cars and other equipment ... going to be around longer then us I think.
