Everything we humans build will be gone one day. Kinda makes me wonder if there's more to human history that was, but is simply gone and nothing is left to prove it was here once.

When they find sea shells on the top of mountains I really believe that there is human history that was wiped out completely ... makes you think about how there could've been a city of Atlantis out there for real.

I am not sure how many are missing from the Maui fire...unfortunately 56 I think have been confirmed dead.

So very, very sad.

I read someone was saying that the big plantations cleared the natural vegetation for decades and when they were outlawed and put out of business, that land was no longer maintained and all became overgrown and fueled the disaster...
