I am so glad this week is predicted to be cooler than last week
Hot summer days sucked at my old summer job, but at least that was a theme park and so mostly outdoors
Tho the majority of the lil buildings had neither fan nor a/c as a result
Only shops that did were the candy shops (necessary for the fudge), the campgrounds shops, and a random one near the back (which only half worked at best anyway)
Unless you count the air curtain thingies above each doorway, tho those got used more to keep rain from blowing in lol
And not even then were those available in all locations. Several had rolling doors, so nowhere for such a device
Oh well

Anyway someone (likely a niece) accidentally locked the back door so dad n I had to break into my own goddamn house lol
Front is always locked because one of our cats, Jazz, can open that one and she never closes it behind her
Thankfully the side windows we keep open in summer, particularly for the cats, are open, so dad gave me a boost and I was in and able to unlock the door
He found the keys so now he has one and I have one

Also, people are work are joking about when I'm gonna evict my parents

I couldn't leave my doors unlocked--too afraid a homeless person would squat in my home or some drugged out maniac would do maniac stuff in here... it's out of control figuratively and literally...

The homeless situation is everywhere... and I don't mean those who legitimately are made homeless because of job s being reduced or cost of living increasing, & want to change... I am talking about those walking zombies who are drugged out or those who don't want anyone to have anything nice.

It's a twenty minute drive to get to town from here, nevermind walking

I'm outside of town (10 minutes by freeway) and believe where I am is considered rural (as opposed to urban).

I hate going into town--it's definitely worse there--can't miss seeing any of it.

Much as it's needed for ny nieces to be here away from their mother, I'm looking forward to them no longer being here, be it either my parents did final signing and have moved (their final signing is the 18th), or their mom permanently leaves and they can go back home to their dad

It'll also be nice when work stops running us six days a week. Pretty sure we linesfolk and connected got yesterday off cuz the mechanics were complaining too much and they bow to them
Tbf, Friday we had one machine completely crap out on first, a second follow suit with about two hours left on second, third and fourth not cooperate all night long, and the last two just not being used to run
I changed lines four times: first a swap because the one could not keep up on a basic packout. Then cuz mine went down, so over to one not running to straight pack from gaylords caused by backlog from the line I started on, then back to said line once the gaylords were cleared
Supervisor thought I had been dawdling on the packout one until I pointed out that I'd cleared one of the two gaylords before final break and it was the fuller of the two. And that had taken me about half an hour, once the printer had gotten the autoprinter set up

Look how much you are able to do now.
I had no idea that mortgages were sold, but with economics I guess that makes sense.
With the amount you can do & flexibility you have at work you should apply to work at the Post Office... they are looking for employee's on the East coast. You can work in the back of the large offices if you don't want to be on the street or at the counter.

Mortgages have traded a lot in the last 20-30 years, but for the P's one that's a lot of transfers in a short period of time. I wonder what's going on. Is there interest rate really high or really low, or is the amount really high or low? I don't want to know specifics, but I'm curious of what's different about theirs. Interesting...

Idk, they got theirs almost 30 years ago, so they're in that range you mentioned
