Be amazed at how much the place echoes after the placed is cleared out
Get everything gunky off the floors cuz my nieces got a Slime Phase that dad killed by sending the middle home with allllllllll the slime. Their home is fully carpeted. Also cat puke
I'll still have the one table, so imma get it up against the one wall and get my fairy garden back up
Get the downstairs more how I'd like it
They're letting me keep the older TV and that firestick, so that one needs hidive added and then that's good. That'll most likely end up against the stairwell
Move the cedar chest into the back room so I have somewhere to sit as I get my shoes on (and be a spot to drop off my work bag)
After that, downstairs is more or less ready to roll
Upstairs, get my desk moved into a different room, so that I have a bedroom and an arts n crafts room
Reorganize my books, since I'll have space for books outside my room
Get more of the decor stuff I have out and free up space that way
Get the one dresser into my room (if they don't take it)
Free up my closet of what's stored in it, use those racks in my arts n crafts room
Decorate with what I've got and the space I have. Lots of posters lol
And after that basically it's shopping time, but that won't be for a couple weekends minimum, especially since my area is getting mandates again
Today/tomorrow got canceled (basically all of first, including my lead, has stuff going on to where they'll either be calling in entirely or only running a half day) but Monday is still on
With work, I'm expecting this is gonna take me at least a month
After that it's basically all the small stuff is done, time to worry about the big stuff. Like the furnace. The insulation. The bathroom (which will be the first Major Thing cuz leaky old toilet is, uh, Not Good). Turning the back room back into a sunroom (terracotta tiles, gonna be so pretty but SO EXPENSIVE. #worthit). Windows all updated cuz I'm pretty sure even the new ones could use replacements at this point and I might as well get them all done at once. The one upstairs window that's an arc will go from plain glass to stained glass (gonna be so PRETTY)
I do need to be a smartass to dad and tell him that I must speak with the butler about getting the fireplace prepped for winter (aka dad I think we're about at that point)
