Maybe next year I will take pictures of the display's in the stores & post them. Now they are already putting up Christmas ... or maybe I should take pictures of those display's ...Hallowistmas !

The gift shop near my job put up their Halloween decorations back in July or August. Now they have their Christmas decorations up. They even put up their 4th of July decorations in May, if I remember correctly. Has this always been the standard? I don't like when stores do this. >;c

Wasn't the standard when I was a kid. I think marketing they are just trying to get people to keep buying... but it makes it feel like the holiday's are coming too soon & then after awhile takes away the fun when they arrive since the decorations have been out so long.

I don't remember it being like this when I was a kid, either. It definitely takes out the fun, in my opinion. My days are already always mixed up because of scheduling appointments at my job, so when I see the decorations being out so early it makes me think that the holidays have already passed (ex: with the Christmas decorations being up sometimes I think Halloween passed and Christmas is like next month). >;c

I was at a couple of stores a couple of days ago and in addition to the Christmas stuff on display, they were playing Christmas music! Totally unfair (was humming them outside)!!
